Preschool Teacher

QI SCHOOL (Franklin, MA) is seeking an experienced Preschool Teacher. A degree in Early Childhood Education or similar is preferred. Generous paid time off, health insurance, and retirement plan provided.


The preschool teacher, under the supervision of the director, is responsible for creating and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum based on the individual needs of each child in the classroom.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents and fellow team members

  • Instruct preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and emotional growth

  • Create a fun and safe learning environment

  • Collaborate with other teachers and administrators to create an engaging and developmentally appropriate preschool curriculum

  • Maintain open and positive communication with families in regard to their child's progress

  • Assist in maintaining children's daily records, portfolios, and reports.


Qualifications:

  • Must have Preschool Teacher Certification from EEC

  • Degree in Early Childhood Education or similar preferred

  • Two years experience working with children three to five years old

  • Passionate about working with children

  • Ability to build rapport with children

  • Positive and patient demeanor

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Infant/Toddler Teacher

QI SCHOOL (Franklin, MA) is seeking an experienced Infant/Toddler Teacher. A degree in Early Childhood Education or similar is preferred. Generous paid time off, health insurance, and retirement plan provided.

The Infant/Toddler Teacher, under the supervision of the director, is responsible for creating and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum based on the individual needs of each child in the classroom.

  • Instruct Infant/Toddler-aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and emotional growth

  • Create a fun and safe learning environment

  • Collaborate with other teachers and administrators to create an engaging and developmentally appropriate Infant/Toddler curriculum

  • Maintain open and positive communication with families in regard to their child's progress

  • Assist in maintaining children's daily records, portfolios, and reports.

  • Passionate about working with children

  • Ability to build rapport with children

Assistant Teacher

Primary Responsibilities

  • Follow Qi School mission and philosophy;

  • Assist in planning of weekly themes, lesson plans and daily activities;

  • Supervise activities of children and provide stimulating activities;

  • Maintain all certification as required;

  • Ensure compliance with all EEC rules and regulations.


Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age;

  • High school diploma or equivalent;

  • One year experience working with children birth to five years in home or center setting.

  • Passionate about working with children

  • Ability to build rapport with children

  • Positive and patient demeanor

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
